Indians stand by Anna Hajare for revolutionary Second Freedom Fight

August 21, 2011 3 comments

Why people started supporting Anna? Why and how it becoming a fast for Lokpal to revolutionary movement? and i found few reasons…

Since last 60 plus years our countrymen, people from each class, Farmer to mill worker, everyone suffering by many diseases like corruption on all levels, injustice, inflation, unemployment, bomb spots, nexalite issues, internal security issues,  politicians/ governments inabilities to provide basics like bread & butter even after we are called fastest growing country, Politicians and corporates going together and growing together and above that politicians arrogance.

Aam Aadami has been suffering a lot in last few years, he unwillingly, unwantedly, slowly became part of corrupted system, he has been carrying anger in his mind against corrupted system, he already lost belief for politicians but same time he alone was not abler to stand against it cause his past experience was not good, as usual he wanted someone to lead him like Gandhi (yes i am talking about Mahatma and not rest), Bhagat Singh or Netaji but every politician, every party, every neta here has lost respect, lost credibility.

And people’s fortune they found a iconic, ideal social activist who is pure from heart, who is been fighting for people’s rights, against corruption since many years, who has clean and inspirational background. People started looking trustworthy, hopeful leader in him and they started supporting Anna even though many of them are not aware about what is lokpal, what change lokpal will bring? they want to protest against corrupt system, they want corruption free country.

Lata Mangeshkar, amitabh bachhan, Mumbai’s dabbawalas, anupam kher, javed akhtar, priyanka chopra, bipasha, shekhar kapoor, shaban aazami, madhur bhandarkar and many suported Anna’s fast.

Sri Sri Ravishankar- who met Anna Hazare on Sunday at the Ramlila ground said “It is definite that truth will become victorious.”

– Sikh guru Guru Govind Singh said that “saints and soldiers were required to save India, and today, in order to save the country, a soldier is sitting like a saint here.

Mahatma Gandhi’s Private Secretary, nonagenarian V Kalyanam, has supported to Anna Hazare’s followers in Chennai.

Santosh Hegade supported- karnattaka Lokayukta – The Lok Ayukta had exposed major irregularities in mines.

– Lata Mangeshkar: – “mujhe raajneeti na samajhme aati hai na hi usmein koi dilchaspi hai, parantu bhrashtachaar se humara desh mukt hona bahot zaroori hai, isiliye main anna hazaare ji ke is bhrashtachaar virodhi abhiyaan ka samarthan karti hun… (I don’t understand politics nor do I have an interest in it. But I feel, our country should be free from corruption, so I lend my support to the cause Anna Hazareji is fighting for),”

Kailash kher supported and he composed a song for Anna.

Anna Spporters childerns to senior citizens

Shekhar Kapoor:  The implementation of the #Lokpal bill is complex. But tht cannt take away Anna’s right to peaceful demonstration

Anupam Kher: Anna Hazare, Kiran Bedi and Arvind Kejriwal arrested even before they reach JP park. Saddest day for Indian Democracy.

The MOST important thing for all of us to remember is to keep this protest absolutely PEACEFUL. That is what ANNA wishes.”

Anna Hazare – 74 years old Fighter against corruption

August 18, 2011 5 comments

Most influential soul of today’s India, Padma Bhushan (the third-highest civilian award), Real Hero, Army officer, Transformer of Ralegan Siddhi village, a genuine countryman, icon of India, social activist, echo of Gandhi, one and only Kisan Baburao Hazare popularly known as Anna Hajare अण्णा हजारे started second Freedom Fight, a revolutionary movement.

Anna Hajare - hunger strike

1. Anna Hazare began his fast unto death on 5 April 2011 at Jantar Mantar at Delhi for the demand to form a joint committee of the representatives of the Government and the civil society to draft a stronger anti-corruption bill with stronger penal actions and more independence to the Lokpal and Lokayuktas.

Social activists, including Medha Patkar, Arvind kejriwal, kiran bedi, Agnivesh support to Hazare’s hunger strike and anti-corruption campaign.

2. On 8 April 2011 the Government of India accepted all demands of the movement. According formula there will be a politician Chairman and an activist, non-politician Co-Chairman. According to the notification, Pranab mukhereje will be the Chairman of the draft committee while Shanty Bhushan will be the co-chairman.

On the morning of 9 April 2011 Hazare ended his 98-hour hunger strike.

3. During the meeting of the joint drafting committee on 30 May 2011, the Union government members opposed the inclusion of the prime minister, higher judiciary and the acts of the MPs under the Lokpal in the draft bill.

4. On July 28, 2011 the union cabinet on approved a draft of the Lokpal Bill, which keeps the Prime Minister, judiciary and lower bureaucracy out of the ambit of the proposed  Lokpal.

5. Anna Hazare rejected the government version by describing it as “cruel joke’’ and wrote a letter to Prime Ministe.

6. On August 16 2011, Hazare was arrested four hours before the planned indefinite hunger strike.

7. On 19 August 2011 Anna released from Tihar Jail and continue fast on Ram Lila maidan.

8. 20th August 2011 – 5th day of fast, waiting for dialogue from government.

9. 21st August 2011 – 6th day of fast

Anna said again “Hunger strike will continue until the government passes Lokpal Bill.”

Anna said, “Those who are saying the BJP and RSS are behind our agitation should be sent to a “mental hospital.

Government not taking any pro-active step, Anna has not eaten since last 6 days but government has no concerns for the health of 74 year old Anna Hajare. Government is been replying, reacting in a shameful way since starting of that movement. Our Mr. Clean hon. Prime Minister not justifying his position cleanly, such a grand movement going in a India, people on road but our PM busy talking about growth rate. Indian Janata respects Mr. Clean a lot  but now people having lots of question in their mind.

10. 22st August 20117th day of fast – Anna lost 5 kg. People from India and outside of India supporting this movement.  Movement seems to be centuries greatest, grand movement, NRIs hold rally for Anna in LA, Anna is fasting for the last seven days and what our hon. Manmohan singh doing? are they waiting for him to die, no Manmohan singh is busy in much more important task like attending convocation at the Indian Institute of Technology-Kharagpur where locals and students protest and few students even announced that they would not accept their degrees at the annual convocation in support of Hazare’s campaign, Ritesh Singh, a student said ‘Prime Minister giving me my degree is a dream come true. But right now a strong Lokpal is much more important than my dream.’ Is it kind of slap for sleeping government? Millions, Billions of people actively, passionately  participated in anti-corruption movement, people are on road to protest corruption but importantly with non-violence, i think this is the only example in the worlds history.  Why government is behaving like a full, why govt. is playing with people’s emotions. If anything happens to Anna’s health or govt. continue to respond in same way then people, youth can go to wrong direction.

Next 4 days discussions, arguments happened between Anna team and sarkar, every time Government said something and taken stand against something, it was like monkey jumping, even sarkar were in planning to arrest Anna in midnight but Anna, his team and peoples awareness made sarkar to withdraw that plan.

Meantime Annaji lost almost 7 kg weight, Dr said his Blood pressure is low, his health is stable but still Dr. has concerns of long term effects. But every time Anna Hajare said he is fit and he will not die until and unless Lokpal bill passed.

According to plan, discussion was planned in sansad (Loksabha) on Lokpal  and 3 key points on 26th august, but as usual political parties played cards of their politics and nothing constuctive happned.

27th August – 12th day of Anna’s fastHistoric day for country.

In morning Anna Hazare said, “It is very sad thing that we have mistakenly sent people who are not right to Parliament.”

After lots of drama in Loksabha, after lots of certinity and uncertinity finally the historic and good thing happned, Loksabha agreed on Anna’s 3 conditions without any condition.

Anna said, “We have won half the battle. Celebrate the success with peace. My brothers and sisters who has been on fast, please end your fast. I will end my fast with you at 10 am (28th August 2011).”

“Anna thanked all countrymans, youth, women, childrens, media, supporters for supporting lokpal movement. “

28th August – Finally Anna Hajare ended his 13th day (290 hours) fast.

Anna said, “This is the beginning, we have lots of plans and things to do in near fuure and every time required everyone’s support the way they shown here. Next few agendas are Election reform, we need to have Right to recall and Right to reject. ” then he shown concerns about farmers rights, labors rights, environment and natural resource, he said we need to conserve the natural resources.

Anna Hazare Hunger Strike for Jan Lok Pal Bill – War against Corruption

April 8, 2011 Leave a comment

10 things to know about Anna Hazare and Jan Lok Pal Bill

1. Who is Anna Hazare?
An ex-army man. Fought 1965 Indo-Pak War

2. What’s so special about him?
He built a village Ralegaon Siddhi in Ahamad Nagar district, Maharashtra

3. So what?
This village is a self-sustained model village. Energy is produced in the village itself from solar power, biofuel and wind mills.

In 1975, it used to be a poverty clad village. Now it is one of the richest village in India. It has become a model for self-sustained, eco-friendly & harmonic village.

4. Ok,…?
This guy, Anna Hazare was awarded Padma Bhushan and is a known figure for his social activities.

5. Really, what is he fighting for?
He is supporting a cause, the amendment of a law to curb corruption in India.

6. How that can be possible?
He is advocating for a Bil, The Jan Lokpal Bill (The Citizen Ombudsman Bill), that will form an autonomous authority who will make politicians (ministers), beurocrats (IAS/IPS) accountable for their deeds.

8. It’s an entirely new thing right..?
In 1972, the bill was proposed by then Law minister Mr. Shanti Bhushan. Since then it has been neglected by the politicians and some are trying to change the bill to suit thier theft (corruption).

7. Oh.. He is going on a hunger strike for that whole thing of passing a Bill ! How can that be possible in such a short span of time?

The first thing he is asking for is: the government should come forward and announce that the bill is going to be passed.

Next, they make a joint committee to DRAFT the JAN LOKPAL BILL. 50% goverment participation and 50% public participation. Because you cant trust the government entirely for making such a bill which does not suit them.

8. Fine, What will happen when this bill is passed?

A LokPal will be appointed at the centre. He will have an autonomous charge, say like the Election Commission of India. In each and every state, Lokayukta will be appointed. The job is to bring all alleged party to trial in case of corruptions within 1 year. Within 2 years, the guilty will be punished. Not like, Bofors scam or Bhopal Gas Tragedy case, that has been going for last 25 years without any result.

9. Is he alone? Whoelse is there in the fight with Anna Hazare?

Baba Ramdev, Sri Sri Ravi Shakarji, Ex. IPS Kiran Bedi, Social Activist Swami Agnivesh, RTI activist Arvind Kejriwal and many more.

Prominent personalities like Aamir Khan is supporting his cause.

10. Ok, got it. What can I do?

At least we can spread the message. How?
Putting status message, links, video, changing profile pics.
At least we can support Anna Hazare and the cause for uprooting corruption from India.
At least we can hope that his Hunger Strike does not go in vain.
At least we can pray for his good health.

Indian MP’s – Member of Parliament want 5 times salary hike.

June 30, 2010 2 comments

Indian MP’s ( Member of Parliament) want 5 times salary hike.

A Parliamentary committee has recommended that the monthly salary of MPs should be hiked five times from Rs 16,000 to Rs 80,000.

Price hike in Petrol, Gas, Diesel that affects in price raise of transportation cost that directly affects in cost hike of vegetables, food and other everyday products.  Inflation has already crossed the limits and its impossible to survive common and middle man. This the current condition of country and  MP’s – Member of Parliament asking for 5 times salary hike.

I would like to mention one example of England, where the salaries of the lawmakers were frozen due to the impact of recession.

Public: First time in the world someone expecting 5 times salary hike for doing nothing.

Parliamentary Affairs Minister P K Bansal said “Nothing has been finalized. Everything is under discussion. Very soon, we will take it up with concerned ministries. We hope to take it to the Cabinet so as to introduce a bill in the coming session of Parliament”

In justification of hike Bansal said Government employees got sixth pay commission hike and there have been a hike in the pay packages of private sector employees too.

Public: How he can compare MP’s with private sector employees,

1) cause private sector employees need to face do or die situation every day to earn that salary.

2) MP’s can run their business, private sector employees can not do cause its against rule.

3) MP’s have no responsibility and accountability, there are doing their assigned works even.

4) as per one channels surve average asset of MP is above 1 crore. ( what is the need of salary for them)

5) MP’s having many economical resources unlike private sector employees.

6 ) Allowances, Perks and facilities MP’s are having like Free 1st Ac Train Travel, Free Air Journeys and many things unlike private sector employees.

Public thinks MP’s should not get hike, cause MP’s does not deseve.

Swine influenza, H1N1 flu, swine flu – Symptoms and Preventions.

August 20, 2009 1 comment

Swine influenza also called H1N1 flu, swine flu, hog flu, and pig flu is an infection by swine influenza virus. Swine influenza virus (SIV) is commonly found in pigs.

What are swine flu symptoms?

Symptoms of swine flu are like regular Fly Symptoms and include

  • Fever,
  • Cough,
  • Sore throat,
  • Runny nose,
  • Body aches,
  • Headache,
  • Chills,
  • Fatigue,
  • Diarrhea and
  • Vomiting.

How does swine flu spread?

The new swine flu virus is a human virus spread by people and not by pigs.

The swine flu virus can become airborne if you cough or sneeze without covering your nose and mouth, sending germs into the air.

The new swine flu virus apparently spreads just like regular flu. You could pick up germs directly from droplets from the cough or sneeze of an infected person, or by touching an object they recently touched, and then touching your eyes, mouth, or nose, delivering their germs for your own infection.

Preventions: “Prevention is always better than cure. “

  • When you cough and sneeze, cover your mouth and nose. Wash your hands afterward.
  • You should make washing your hands a habit, even when you’re not ill.
  • Avoid being near others who might be sick.
  • Stay at home if you are sick, to avoid affecting others.
  • Avoid going in public places like Malls, Theaters etc.
  • Keep DRINKING WATER: Drinking eight to ten large glasses of water acts as a flush for the body toxins.
  • SLEEP DEEP AND LONG: Ensure that you get your eight hours of peaceful sleep
  • Eat green vegetables, whole grains and vitamin rich foods

Recession: How to survive in Financial crisis

March 10, 2009 5 comments

Global recession and its consequences, financial crisis, job cuts, are the hot topic of nowdays. Current global recession that seems the greatest ever. We do not know how long, critical or painful it will be. We can not imagine how worst it will be, so be prepared for everything and anything worst. And start preparation of surviving in difficult financial crisis.

How to survive in Global recession and its threatening consequences.

Take care of following things:

1) Cut in expenses – Save Money:

Expend your money only on basic needed things. Avoid expenses on Things those comes under comfort, lavish life style.

Avoid Hoteling: Avoid hotels for food; preparing food at home is always economical and hygienic. If you can not avoid hoteling then find out hotels those are cheap and hygienic.

Avoid Vacations, Traveling: If you have kept aside some money for vacations or you are in planning of outing for vacation then drop the idea. Save the money for coming months.

Avoid Movies in multiplexes: Money we expend on movie tickets and costly snacks in multiplexes has never been worth, at least not in such financial crunch.

Avoid Parties: Try to avoid any kind of grand parties like birthday, marriage etc parties.

Avoid Shopping: avoid unnecessary purchasing. Avoid purchasing at Malls, and in branded showrooms.

2) Save your jobs:

Try to save your job in any condition; don’t even think about job switching.

If you are facing salary cut, or salary late issues or work pressure, or work load or extra working hour then go for it, accept it by keeping one thing in mind that conditions outside are worst than ever. Even you get job outside you will be the first when this company will think about layoffs.

Do your work with loyalty; trust on yourself and on your company.

Stay yourself away from any kind politics and rumors.

Keep yourself positive and try to keep your teammates also.

Keep eye on market news, what going in other companies, market condition and decide your plans according .

Show willingness to be flexible:If you think you can do or take up other responsibilities with the current once start taking them proactively. Employers today are looking for multi talented resources and if you are a match to a extent you are secured.

3) Be ready for Layoffs:

Be ready for layoffs, and keep checking the possible sectors, fields where you can get job.

Check whether you can start small business or alternative that can fulfill your basic bread and butter requirement.

Keep some money with you or in your account so you can survive at least 3 to 6 months in case you loose job.

Keep your money in nationalize, trustworthy and well reputed bank so your money will be secure.

4) Make your succession plan:

Keeping the worst case scenario in mind, look for ideas, alternatives, and options to supplement your current salary. If you are working somewhere and have some fixed income you are a bit more stable and can think of some side business rather then starts thinking of the same after you get laid off/lock out etc etc…

This other income though it might not be a huge amount would be helpful as in worst case scenario you can increase/expand this as a full time carrier option. (and if this idea/business works and starts giving you equal returns as your salary nothing like it as being self employed is always better then the otherwise)

5) Stay Connected:

This will always keep you informed about the latest news, updates incase of adversity their might be people who can help you out. So stay in touch with all your old, new friends and relatives (you never know who can help you when in need).

All the Best.
